Cheney prays for hunt victim

'The hunter shot and wounded by Vice President Dick Cheney suffered a minor heart attack after a piece of birdshot moved to his heart, a hospital spokesman said today. Cheney called the man, Texas lawyer and campaign contributor Harry Whittington, Tuesday afternoon to offer his "thoughts and prayers," the vice president's office said.'

If the guy dies... that would be involuntary manslaughter, right?

I had the same thought when I heard about his heart attack.

the white house has been so secretive and nonforthcoming in informing the public about the ongoing events - in the press briefing this morning McClellan didn't even MENTION the man's heart attack, although it had occurred - that no one is sure how late the facts are dribbling out. people are debating whether or not the man is even alive tonight, and if he's not, WHEN it will be announced - how many days AFTER?

this white house likes to control any and all info.

Let's have Clinton sign an exectutive order to wire-tap the phones at the White House.

The White House has no right to disclose medical information about a private citizen. What's the big deal?

True... unless he kills a man!

Thankfully, a Presidential Pardon is all it will take to fix that problem right away.

It's funny that his thoughts and prayers are with him, but dont ask him any questions, don't ask for comment from his office, and don't try anything...funny
